What is "Linden Clover // The Workshop"?
Linden Clover The Workshop is a retreat for creatives of all kinds, but caters mostly to photographers (as we are photographers ourselves).
Our heart is to create a space for artists to come, leave their inhibitions at the door, and enter into a time of creative empowerment surrounded by like-minded individuals.
We believe that we are nothing without our tribe, and facing our fears is a lot less daunting with a band of kindred spirits who have your back.
You can count on these things for sure: meals that will make everything else taste like stale bread in comparison, local wine a-flowing, unending amounts of conversation between open hearts, finding inspiration in unlikely places, and friends for life.

How often do these workshops happen?
Our workshop occurs once a year -- either in the spring or fall.
But rumor has it that we might change it to TWICE a year :)

Where do the workshops take place?
So far, all of our workshops have been held locally here on the Central Coast of California (Paso Robles, Atascadero, San Luis Obispo).
HOWEVER, we are down to travel -- so if you'd like to see Linden Clover come somewhere near you, drop us a line and let us know!

What makes this workshop a "retreat"?
Because fostering relationships is of the utmost importance to us, we plan our workshops to take place over the span of 2-3 days, so as to build the kind of friendship that will last beyond the confines of the workshop. Between the sustainably catered meals, the finely curated venue, and the team of workshop vendors - we stop at nothing to make your experience as rejuvenating as possible: serving your body, mind, and soul.

What makes this workshop a "photography workshop"?
Photography is our art form of choice, therefore you can count on lots of visual inspiration and a photogenic playground.
Between the two of us, we have 20 years of wedding photography experience. We've learned a lot of things the hard way (still are), and love sharing the ups and downs of our story. We are an open book for any and all of your questions. You can count on shop talk, lightroom tricks, business tips, & social media hacks. But you can also expect complete honesty, real life struggles, and no fake-ness in sight. Running your own business is HARD, being an entrepreneur in an artistic career is a non-stop climb -- WE KNOW. But we believe that if we were all a little more honest with one another, the journey could be a little easier.

I'm not a photographer, but I still want to come. Is that okay???
OF COURSE! We would love to have you. We believe every human being was born creative, therefore every human is invited.
And who knows, you might find you are drawn to the photographic arts in a way you never thought possible.
